Our Mission

Vet’s Rest Stop (VRS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation established for the purpose of assisting veterans of the US Armed Forces who are in need of counseling and mentoring due to facing issues such as addictions, underemployment, medical issues, homelessness, domestic relations issues, personal issues and the like.

VRS has procured a property in Woodstock, NH and has completed construction of a community center that will be utilized as a gathering place for the Veterans and their families residing in the 4-6 tiny homes currently being built on the property.

Goals:

​

1. Providing transitional housing for veterans in an area underserved with low to moderate housing;

2. Provide a community based building designed to serve the needs of veterans seeking counseling services combined with the availability of on site resources outlining available benefits for veterans of all service eras;

3. Provide a community based building to support group meetings in an alcohol and drug free environment.
